Moors Valley Miniature Steam Railway

As I’ve not posted in a while I thought I’d better add a quick post!

Here’s a recording I made whilst on a trip to Moors Valley in Dorset recently. It’s taken onboard a miniature steam railway that travels for about a mile loop. It’s not often that you get to hear that distinctive clackity-clack sound of a train nowadays so was pretty happy to capture that ‘traditional’ train feel in the recording.

Feel free to download and mess about with the pitching too. Played back at half speed certainly gives it a bit more of a beefy locomotive feel to it!

Recorded on a Zoom H2 at 48/24.
